General Rules

  • We require all students to wear the official school uniform, which must be clean, odorless, and ironed.
  • All clothing must be free of rips, tears, and/or holes. If the cloth becomes worn, it is advised to purchase a new one.
  • Skin-tight and form-fitting clothing are prohibited.
  • No coats, outdoor jackets, or hoodies are permitted in the school building.
  • All students must carry a raincoat during the rainy season.
  • Shoes must be worn at all times. Shoes without socks are not permitted. Exceptions may be made only for medical reasons, which must be approved in advance by the school.
  • Hairstyles that attract undue attention and detract from the educational environment, such as unusual styles, colors, shaved heads, tails, or unusual razor cuts, are not permitted.
  • Hair gel, hair dye, and color streaks are not allowed.
  • Students wearing glasses will use simple frames only.
  • Only watches with white/black/brown/ navy blue plain belts will be allowed.
  • Nails must be trimmed on a regular basis. If nails are not properly maintained, they will be trimmed on the school grounds.
  • Bracelets, bangles, and anklets are not allowed.

CONSEQUENCES:


RULES SPECIFIC FOR MALE STUDENTS:
  • Male students must have a proper haircut. The hair must be cut above the ears and must not cover the forehead or be worn long at the back.
  • The hair must be combed properly maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Shirts should be always tucked in.
  • Students must wear clothing in such a manner that does not expose underwear or body parts in a way that is indecent or vulgar

RULES SPECIFIC FOR FEMALE STUDENTS:
  • Girls must tie their hair in braids/ponytails.
  • In the case of short hair, all hair must be neatly pinned using black hair pins/clips.
  • Girls must only wear plain white Hijab without any shimmer, or lace.
  • Nail polish, lipstick, shimmery lip gloss, colored chapstick, henna, makeup (including kohl), and/or other decorative ornaments are not allowed.
  • Girls can wear simple jewelry. No piercing is allowed except in the ear and nose.

First offense:

A student is warned, a warning is issued, and parents are contacted via a disciplinary slip in the diary.

Second offense:

Student must change, detention is assigned, and phone contact is made. Third and subsequent offenses require the student to change, be assigned to detention or other disciplinary action, and have phone contact with parents. Continued violations of the dress code policy will result in a parent conference, suspension, and removal from classes. Exceptions to the above dress code may be granted for medical reasons, special events, or to promote school spirit, as determined by the school Principal or his/her designee. Students and/or sponsors who wish to request special accommodations must first obtain permission from the school administration. Students who do not adhere to the dress code.
